General Idaho Extreme Adventures Tour FAQ

  • How early can I book a tour with Idaho Extreme Adventures?

We allow online reservations up to 1 year in advance of your tour.  Our tour season is extremely short so make plans as early as possible to ensure your desired tour dates and times are available.

  • How early should I arrive on the day of my tour?

We recommend all participants arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.  We hate to see someone’s tour leave without them.  Plan accordingly and be as early as possible.

  • Can children participate in tours?

The minimum age for a tour participant is 3 years old.  Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • What is your Cancellation Policy?

Idaho Extreme Adventures will issue a full (100%) refund if notified at least 7 days prior to your scheduled departure.

Note: No refunds will be issued or schedule changes made without 7 days advance notice.

We reserve the right to cancel any tour without notice for inclement weather, unsafe conditions, guide/pilot availability or any reason that prevents us from safely meeting FAA regulations or Idaho Outfitters and Guides License Board stipulations.  Any cancellation resulting from these operational delays will be fully refunded or rescheduled.

  • What are your general terms and conditions?

Tour prices are subject to change without notice.  Tour schedules and availability are subject to change without notice.  We make every effort to maintain consistency and be on schedule.  The safety of our participants is of the utmost importance, and situations relating to weather, environmental conditions, equipment maintenance, guide/pilot availability may all impact your scheduled tour.  We will do our best to be flexible and accommodate your group, considering these potential challenges.

  • Can we bring alcoholic beverages with us?

Idaho Extreme Adventures has a strict No Drug/Alcohol policy.  Any tour participant observed being under the influence or in possession of any type of drugs or alcohol may be removed from the tour or have their tour canceled immediately.  Your personal safety and the safety of all tour participants is our number one priority.  Please save the celebration for after your Idaho Extreme Adventure has ended.

  • Do I need to sign a Release of Liability Waiver?

All tour participants, as well as legal guardians of underage children, are required to sign our tour waiver.  Once you book your tour, you will be provided with a link to sign the waiver and provide any additional participant information we may require.  This link can be emailed directly to the individuals participating in your tour.

  • Do you allow walk-ins?

It is always recommended to book your tour in advance to ensure availability.  Under some circumstances, we can accommodate walk-in participants, but it may result in separate tours for individuals in your group based on single seat availability.  We generally require 24 hours advance notice to book helicopter and military vehicle tours and 7 days’ notice to book our UTV guide service.  If you are not able to provide this notice to book online, please contact us via phone or email.

  • What Taxes and Fees are added when I book my tour?

Idaho State Sales Tax - 6% (All tours)

Booking Fee - 3% (All tours)

Service Fee - 3.5% (All tours)

Land Use Fee - 6% (Land based tours only paid to Bureau of Land Management and US Forest Service)
